According to the Thirukanitha Panchangam, Saturn transits from Kanya Rasi (Virgo) to Thula Rasi (Libra) on 15th November 2011.The transit will be favorable for Simha Rasi (Leo), Rishaba Rasi (Taurus), and Danur Rasi (Sagittarius) and unfavorable for Vritchika Rasi (Scorpio), Makara Rasi (Capricorn), Meena Rasi (Pisces), Mesha Rasi (Aries), Kataka Rasi (Cancer) and Thula Rasi (Libra). It will be moderate or better than the previous position for Mithuna Rasi (Gemini), Kanya Rasi (Virgo), and Kumba Rasi (Aquarius).

The first that he should be more powerful than his father, the Lord Sun and secondly that he be seven times more distant from the Sun and surrounded by the seven sub-planets. Lord Shiva bestowed his grace by granting these boons and blessed Lord Shani.
